The Blood

After Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden,
they tried to use fig leaves to cover their sin and their nakedness.
But God replaced their fig leaves with clothes He made from the skins of animals,
because sin can only be covered by the shedding of blood and by nothing less.
Abel killed some of the firstborn from the flocks he kept as an offering to God,
and God accepted Abel's sacrifice of the animals that had died and bled.
Cain worked the ground and he offered some of the fruits of the soil to God,
but God rejected Cain's offering because no blood had been shed.
Noah and his family left the ark after the flood waters receded,
and the first thing Noah did was build an altar to give thanks unto the Lord.
Then Noah sacrificed some of the animals and birds of which he had seven,
and God was pleased and put His rainbow in the sky from which the rains had poured.
When the Israelites were slaves in Egypt, Pharaoh refused to let them leave,
so God punished Egypt with a series of plagues, such as the death of their cattle and rams.
Finally the Angel of Death killed all the first-born children of the Egyptians in one night,
but he spared the Israelite children whose door posts were covered with the blood of a lamb.
Moses went up onto Mount Sinai and he talked with God,
and God gave Moses the Ten Commandments on tablets of stone.
God also told Moses to build an altar for animal sacrifices
so when His Laws were broken they would know the right way for their sin to atone.
King Solomon built the first Temple in the city of Jerusalem
to replace the Tabernacle Tent used by the Jews as a place of worship and prayer.
King Solomon offered 22,000 cattle and 120,000 sheep and goats,
to consecrate the Temple to the Lord of heaven and earth and everywhere.
Jesus said He was not going to change the law but He was going to fulfill it.
Jesus died on the cross and with His Holy Blood He paid the penalty for all our sins.
Jesus was laid to rest in a borrowed tomb but He rose from the dead,
and He opened the gates to heaven so that each one of us may go in.
Without the shedding of blood there is no Divine forgiveness of sin.
Jesus' Holy human Blood is God's new Eternal Covenant with Adam's race.
Believe in the Power of the Blood of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
and your sins will be forgiven and you will live forever with the Lamb of Grace.

Adam and Eve
Genesis 3:6-7 - When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.
Genesis 3:21 - The LORD God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them.
Cain and Abel
Genesis 4:2-5 - Now Abel kept flocks, and Cain worked the soil. In the course of time Cain brought some of the fruits of the soil as an offering to the LORD. But Abel brought fat portions from some of the firstborn of his flock. The LORD looked with favor on Abel and his offering, but on Cain and his offering he did not look with favor.
Noah and the Ark
Genesis 7:1-3 - The LORD then said to Noah, "Go into the ark, you and your whole family, because I have found you righteous in this generation. Take with you seven of every kind of clean animal, a male and its mate, and two of every kind of unclean animal, a male and its mate, and also seven of every kind of bird, male and female, to keep their various kinds alive throughout the earth."
Genesis 8:20-21 - Then Noah built an altar to the LORD and, taking some of all the clean animals and clean birds, he sacrificed burnt offerings on it. The LORD smelled the pleasing aroma and said in his heart: "Never again will I curse the ground because of man, even though every inclination of his heart is evil from childhood. And never again will I destroy all living creatures, as I have done."
First Passover in Egypt
Exodus 12:21-23 - Then Moses summoned all the elders of Israel and said to them, "Go at once and select the animals for your families and slaughter the Passover lamb. Take a bunch of hyssop, dip it into the blood in the basin and put some of the blood on the top and on both sides of the doorframe. Not one of you shall go out the door of his house until morning. When the LORD goes through the land to strike down the Egyptians, he will see the blood on the top and sides of the doorframe and will pass over that doorway, and he will not permit the destroyer to enter your houses and strike you down."
Moses and the Ten Commandments
Exodus 20:1-3 - And God spoke all these words: "I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. You shall have no other gods before me."
Exodus 20:24 - Make an altar of earth for me and sacrifice on it your burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, your sheep and goats and your cattle.
Leviticus 17:11 - for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.
Isaiah 1:18 - "Come now, let us reason together," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.
Ecclesiastes 7:20 - There is not a righteous man on earth who does what is right and never sins.
King Solomon
1 Kings 8:62-63 - Then the king and all Israel with him offered sacrifices before the LORD. Solomon offered a sacrifice of fellowship offerings to the LORD: twenty-two thousand cattle and a hundred and twenty thousand sheep and goats. So the king and all the Israelites dedicated the temple of the LORD.
Jesus, the Lamb of God
John 1:36 - When he saw Jesus passing by, he said, "Look, the Lamb of God!"
Matthew 5:17 - "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.
Matthew 16:28 - This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
1 Peter 2:24 - He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.
Psalms 103:12 - as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
Isaiah 53:5 - But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.
Romans 3:21-26 - But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in his blood. He did this to demonstrate his justice, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished -- he did it to demonstrate his justice at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.
